Product import

How to turn an AliExpress product into a Shopify page

Importing a product is not the same as building a convincing page. The source listing gives you raw material; your store still needs accurate facts, original positioning and a coherent experience.

Start with supplier verification

Check supplier history, product variants, current availability and realistic delivery expectations. Save the exact source you reviewed and avoid treating a marketplace badge as proof of product quality.

Separate facts from supplier marketing

Create two lists: verifiable product facts and promotional claims. Use facts as generation input. Only retain performance or health claims when you have evidence and permission to use them.

Build an original message

Define the audience, problem and main outcome before writing. A generated page should reorganize the information around the buyer rather than reproduce the marketplace listing.

  • Lead with the customer outcome
  • Group related benefits
  • Add a concise use case
  • Answer delivery and fit questions

Review assets and publish

Confirm that you can use the product images, verify variants and prices, then review the full page in Shopify. Keep the sections editable so later supplier or offer changes do not require a complete rebuild.
